Only Beyonce could steal the style spotlight from all the Met Gala attendees and walk the red carpet right before it shuts down.

The 33-year-old song siren was dripping in multicoloured crystals for the fashion’s biggest night donning a body hugging sheer Givenchy dress that covered her ᴀssets in only jeweled embellishments.

The mother-of-one wowed in a long sleeve ensemble that put her curves on full display.

Beyonce revealed her Gala getup exclusively on her website showing all the angles of her outfit.

In one pH๏τo, the wife of billionaire rapper Jay Z had both hands on the white wall behind her showcasing her derriere and backless detailing.

The 20-time Grammy winner claimed the top spot of the best dressed list with her very revealing dress that strategically covered her enviable bombshell body.

To emphasize the glamour of her sheer gown, she slicked back her blonde tresses in a sleek ponytail.

She was the talk of the ball last year for all the WRONG reasons, after a private spat with brother-in-law Jay Z went public.

So you could forgive Solange Knowles for feeling a little shy being back at this year’s Met Gala in New York.

Little sister Solange arrived in an unusual printed mini – from designer Giles Deacon – that she could easily hide her face behind, should she want to escape from an awkward questioning about last year.

It certainly appeared to be fitting with the theme, which examines how eastward-looking Westerners have understood, misunderstood and appropriated Chinese culture.

The 28-year-old singer – who married her partner Alan Ferguson in November last year – looked the picture of cutting edge style in the circular shaped gown, that appeared to be inspired by a traditional Chinese fan.

Days after last year’s event, a private altercation between Solange and Jay Z went public after website TMZ released CCTV footage from an elevator inside the ball showed the pair engage in a dramatic physical fight.

Various reports at the time claimed the argument erupted after designer Rachel Roy had got ‘close’ to Jay at the event, although this was later denied.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Insтιтute never disappoints when it comes to dramatic fashion, but hopefully this year Solange will be on her best behaviour.

It has certainly been a dramatic year for the singer, after her wedding went off with more than just a little hitch late last year.

Solange broke out in angry hives on the big day, but was determined to still enjoy the event and later thanked Benadryl allergy medicine for her speedy recovery.

She called the wedding the ‘best day of her life’, blamed the skin reaction on being too H๏τ and ‘happy as hell’.
