Celebrities Who Have Shared Details About Their Surgical Transformations
Let’s be honest — pretty much every celebrity has had or has experimented with cosmetic procedures at some point. If they haven’t gone for a full-on facelift or a touch of liposuction, they’ve dabbled with facial fillers, injected Botox, and fooled around with other injectables. Being in the celebrity world, especially as a woman, means keeping up when it comes to physical appearance. While many celebs won’t admit their procedures, these stars have shared details about their surgical transformations.
Joan Rivers
Comedian and TV personality Joan Rivers was known for her heavily altered physical appearance. It’s speculated that the star underwent over 300 surgical procedures, though she was never satisfied by the results.
Joan Rivers regularly discussed her cosmetic work, including in her comedy routines. It’s thought that the celeb had her first surgery — an eyelift — when she was 32 years old. Since then, Rivers had multiple facelifts, a nose job, and plenty of Botox. Tragically, the iconic comedian passed away during throat surgery.
Victoria Beckham
The original footballer’s wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has admitted to undergoing a breast enhancement. However, the fashion designer is one of many celebs that regretted having the procedure and ultimately had the implants removed.
In a letter to her younger self for Vogue, the mom of four wrote, “I should probably say, don’t mess with your boobs. All those years I denied it — stupid. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you’ve got.” Asides from that, Beckham has denied having any other work done.
Amanda Bynes
Former child star Amanda Bynes used to delight tween audiences with her sketch comedy on The Amanda Show. Sadly, the star has been suffering with addiction and legal issues for some years, and has indefinitely retired from acting.
The Hairspray actress has had various cosmetic procedures, and actually tweeted “I Love Plastic Surgery” at one point in 2013. The singer has admitted to having a nose job, saying it was to remove webbing between her eyes. However, the tweets have since been deleted.
Jennifer Aniston
Way back in 2007, actress Jennifer Aniston admitted to having a nose job due to a deviated septum. Much like Courtney Love, the singer doesn’t regret it one bit, describing the surgery as the “best thing” she ever did.
Asides from that, the Friends actress has repeatedly denied having cosmetic procedures including breast implants, a chin implant, facial injections, and a facelift. Instead, Aniston is a fan of laser treatments, light therapy, and massage. Lucky for some!
Ariel Winter
Modern Family actress Ariel Winter decided to go under the knife because she was sick of suffering from back pain. The star explained, “I really couldn’t stand up straight for a long period of time. It started to hurt so bad that I couldn’t take the pain. My neck was hurting so bad and I actually had some problems with my spine.”
Winter had breast reduction surgery at age 17 in 2015. She has denied having any other procedures, though fans suspect she’s dabbled with fillers.
Kaley Cuoco
Actress Kaley Cuoco started off in sitcom 8 Simple Rules, and then joined the cast of the The Big Bang Theory in 2007. Back when she was just 18 years old, the actress had breast implants. Cuoco told Women’s Health that she also had a nose job, and a line filled in on her neck.
Kaley Cuoco has said of surgery, “I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.”
Kylie Jenner
It was only a matter of time until we discussed the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Kylie Jenner became synonymous with lip-plumping when her naturally thin lips suddenly tripled in size. The star initially claimed she was just overlining her lips, but eventually admitted to lip fillers.
Apparently, Kylie took a step back with her fillers when her sisters told her, “Kylie, you need to chill.” She eventually had them removed when she was pregnant with her daughter, Stormi.
